Our Infant Program
Navigating the landscape of child care options can seem like a Herculean task. The optimal environment for your little one strikes a balance between ticking all those crucial boxes and radiating the comfort of a home away from home. At Expeditions, we aspire to be that sanctuary for your family. Whether you are transitioning back to work post-parental leave, or longing for some precious *me* time, we are steadfastly by your side. We understand that parenting can be a roller-coaster of joys and challenges, and we're here to offer a helping hand to lighten your load.
In our Infant Program, we promise to provide:
Tailored care for your little one, in harmony with your family's preferences and culture
Deep relationships with caregivers who are eager to understand your family's unique lifestyle
Stimulating experiences that nurture your baby's holistic growth
The establishment of trust-based relationships
Cherished one-on-one interactions to strengthen the bond with your baby
Safe, stimulating spaces for your baby to freely explore and learn fundamental movements
Incorporation of basic sign language into everyday activities (like 'more', 'please', 'all done')
Opportunities for your baby to discover the world outside
Engaging activities such as reading, singing, acting out finger plays, and creating art to ignite their imagination.
A Day in Infants
Our main focus is to provide transparent, connected care to the families that we serve. That means we are partnering with you, and your baby to provide an individualized schedule that works for you. Babies are amazing, and they are growing rapidly. What works for a two-month old is going to be vastly different from what works for a six-month old. We want to share our knowledge of child development with you, but also want to hear from you as YOU are the expert on your child.
A day at Expeditions for your baby will look like:
One-on-one bottle feedings & interactive meal times
Low volume music, and gentle support to lull your child to sleep (following safe sleep practices)
Outside time, weather permitting
Developmentally appropriate, engaging activities throughout the day to include sensory activities, gross motor activities, books, & songs
What do we bring for our baby?
We want to make your drop-offs as smooth as possible for you and your baby. Your first day at Expeditions will feel like you are moving into the classroom! We want you to feel prepared, so that it is one less thing to worry about. The following items are parent provided:
